Asparasus Chrisotto
Given the date, and all: it's probably what Jesus would have ate on Easter Sunday, had Nigel Slater's Kitchen Diaries been available at the time. (It was not published till 2005, however.) Prehistoric Israel/Palestine would have probably been far too hot for chocolate confectionery. The carbohydrate-heavy nature of the meal would recharge Jesus's imprisonment-crucifixion-death-resurrection-drained reserves. Also, the smelly wee phenomenon would have acted as a useful icebreaker with the apostles, who might otherwise have felt slightly awkward being around Jesus after the events of the previous few days (especially St Peter, given his behaviour on Friday morning). Knowing Jesus, he could even have used it as the basis for a parable. I do not know what the parable would have been about, however.
(Asparagus risotto, despite its Holy Provenance, does not look very exciting. The picture is the lovely Blossom the Saab 9000 after her bath this afternoon. Racy.)
